Essie Gel Couture PR Stunt from the Gala Bolds Collection 2017 Review

Essie released some more nail polishes to their Gel Couture line the other month, in the Gala Bold’s collection. The collection consisted of twelve nail polishes, in a variety of finishes and shades. I know in the UK and some other countries the full collections weren’t released, which is such a shame. I much prefer when they release the full collection in all countries, as it makes it so much easier to get the polishes you want, without having to rely on buying from another country. If the polishes I want aren’t released in this country, I usually leave them, as it can be so hard to find somewhere at a reasonable price to buy them from abroad.
The nail polish I am reviewing today PR Stunt, was the first one I saw a swatch picture for and just loved the colour. The more I kept seeing swatch pictures of it, the more I knew I needed to add it to my collection. Unfortunately this one wasn’t released in the UK, so I had to order it from the US. I’m always so unsure about ordering from abroad with customs, etc. I found a website called Ella Gray, which is based in the US and ship from there, but have a UK website, so you can pay in British Pounds, which makes things easier. I decided to go for it and order it. It took approximately two weeks to come, which wasn’t bad and I can’t fault the service. I would definitely buy from them again, as it’s handy for those polishes that don’t get released here. Depending how much you spend, you might need to think about customs, etc.
Read on for my review of PR Stunt nail polish and swatch photo’s.

Pandora Blooming Dahlia, Radiant Heart and Luminous Hearts Reviews

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favourite Pandora bracelet designs in my collection. I just love how well all the different colours go together and are so different from the rest of my collection. I love the cream peach colours, along with a mix of silver and a tiny bit of gold. I really hope Pandora bring out some more cream peach coloured charms. Read on for individual reviews and close up photo’s.

Benefit Gimme Brow and Ready, Set, Brow! Reviews

Benefit has quite an extensive range of products specifically for the brows. A lot of these products have become favourites among makeup lovers. I am quite lucky with my brows, as I only need to use a couple of products at the most, one to set them and then if I want to add a bit more colour to them and that’s it. I bought the Look Fantastic beauty box in collaboration with Benefit earlier this year and two of the products were brow ones. So this was a perfect way for me to try out some of the Benefit brow products and they are the type of brow product I use. In the box was a Gimme Brow and Ready, Set, Brow!, which is what I am reviewing today.

Clarins Gentle Refiner and Beauty Flash Balm Reviews

A while ago Debenhams had a special offer on if you bought two Clarins products, you got a free gift with purchase and there were two sets to choose from. I chose the hydrating one which came with a makeup bag, Beauty Flash Balm, Gentle Refiner, Moisture Rich Body Lotion, Hydra-Essentiel Crème and Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil in Honey. I always love when brands do these promotions, as it is a great way to try out products you might not have tried before. I hadn’t tried any Clarins Skincare before I got this set, so was a perfect way for me, to try them out.
I have already reviewed the Hydra-Essentiel Crème and will be reviewing the Moisture Rich Body Lotion and Instant Light Lip Comfort Oil at a later date in another blog post. Today I will be talking about the Gentle Refiner and Beauty Flash Balm.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure Review

Hourglass is another brand I found out about through YouTube video’s and Instagram. Hourglass has beautiful packaging and products. They are a higher end brand, but from the reviews I have heard and read, there products are worth the money. Hourglass makeup has been on my list for so long to try and the first product I wanted to try was the blushers. I don’t have anywhere local to me that sell’s Hourglass, so I’ve had to wait until a shopping trip to Leeds, where Space NK sell it. I do prefer to see makeup in store first before buying, as I like to swatch the product for myself, so I can really see the true colour and get a feel of how the product feels as well.
When I went in store, Space NK had a good selection of products from Hourglass and I decided to mainly focus on the blushers, while I was there, as I do quite easily get distracted, like all of us do, when we are looking at makeup. I will definitely be taking a proper look at all of the products next time I visit, which will be soon.
I swatched a few on my hand and the one that stood out to me the most, which was the one I liked the most from swatch pictures I had seen was the Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure.

OPI I’ll Have a Gin & Tectonic and Aurora Berry-alis from the Iceland Collection 2017 Reviews

OPI released their Fall/Autumn collection for this year in August, which is called the Iceland collection. The collection consists of 12 polishes in various finishes, which has been inspired by the country’s scenic and varied landscape of volcanoes, geysers, hot springs, lava fields and glaciers. There is a range of colours in this collection with green, blues, purples, brown, peach and pink.
The two colours from the initial photo’s that I saw that stood out to me the most were I’ll Have a Gin & Tectonic and Aurora Berry-alis, these just looked like my kind of colours. When I saw swatch pictures I wasn’t disappointed. I am tempted by a couple of other colours, which I may pick up at a later date.

Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer Review

I have wanted to try Bobbi Brown makeup for quite a while and have finally purchased my first products from them. I don’t know why it has taken me so long. When I saw they were releasing this full coverage concealer and started hearing great reviews about it, I knew I needed to try it. I’m always looking for great products to help cover my dark circles. I really like my Mac Pro Longwear Concealer, as it gives great coverage, but I have been looking for another one, so I can alternate between them.
I went in store and swatched it on my hand and liked the way it felt and looked, so found the shade for me. While I was there, I swatched a few other makeup products and made a list of them. I didn’t buy in store, as I wanted to order a few things from online as there were a few offers on at the moment, where you got free gifts, so thought it would be ideal way to try even more of their products.
So I ordered the concealer, a blusher and a lipstick. The first offer was if you spent over £50 you got a skincare trio for free. The second offer was if you spent over £65 you got to choose a makeup set for free, so I chose the one that had a lipstick in, which I had looked at in store, a lip gloss, mascara and they came in a little makeup bag. I am so pleased with what I had ordered and both free gifts. I have got lots of lovely products to try out now. I have posted a picture of all of my new Bobbi Brown products on my Instagram page, if you want to check it out.
Today I am reviewing the Bobbi Brown Instant Full Cover Concealer and will definitely be reviewing my other products at later dates. Read on for my full review, close up photo’s and swatch picture.
